This is a really clean coin with frosty devices. Grade to be revealed shortly. imageimage

  • I'd say 64 PL.
  • MS64 all day. Judging by the way that Brilliant coins photograph, this coin is no PL. If those are hairlines from cleaning in the left obverse field, then AU58

  • If it didn't have obverse hairlines, I go MS-64, perhaps with a PL reverse with some die polishing. The obverse looks cleaned in the left field and I think you'd be lucky to get it in an AU-58 holder instead of a Body Bag. Anacs will net grade the coin however, and consider the lines that appear in the photo.

Is it in an NGC or ANACS slab?

Its in sn NGC holder and the hairlines are much more evident in the photo than in hand.

I had assumed the hairlines were on the slab. In that case I'm going to revise my guess from MS65PL to MS63PL.

Not pl. Looks 64 to me, but I'd guess NGC went 65.

You guys are too hard on NGC. It is not PL. This date is common with this look. To all those graded it 64. GREAT JOB. You know your morgans. Would definately be a 65 if not for the hairlines.
