Hi David...thank you for fielding our questions and enlightening us every week. My question is this....in regard to grading Bust Dollars....I understand that where they are what they are, minor rim dings and scratches will not preclude the coin from being holdered.....specifically, if there were even the slightest bit of corrosion, taking into consideration the leeway they have from scratches (which is damage nonetheless), would that preclude the coin from being holdered? Specifically, I have an 1802/1 Bust Dollar I would love to have in a PCGS slab...I DID get it holdered (for authentication purposes) and I saw not the least bit of it, however, the 'other guys' did (and yes, there are just two slight scratches, which I know would be acceptable to your graders)...they are a top tier grading co., which 'specializes in silver dollars'. Thank you for taking the time to reply to this, for what could be a moot point.

Scratches are a matter of how much and where. it sounds like we'd grade your coin, though the scratches would effect the grade a little.
Thanks,
David
