Could be just a bad scan, but I wouldn't expect anybody to knock over old ladies trying to get to this one.

Man are you right, what a lousy scan! I wonder what it would have sold for with a nice clean scan?

Then, a PSA 9 went up:

And, in September another PSA 8 Houk:
1961 Topps Houk PSA 8- $588
It's obvious the market for this card is all over the place. However, some would say that there are a few that are driving up the market by spending big money on a card that isn't worth what the hammer drops for. In my opinion, these are pieces of cardboard that have a value of $200 for some, and $1100 for others. It really depends on how deep your pockets are and how much you can afford. To each their own!
