Don't know about the other guys but I like the coin. Tone shows me originality.

    Ken,

Here's a God awful picture of the 1921 PCGS MS65FB. My scanner just killed all the luster on this coin. In fact it's not nearly as dark in real life, and the coin actually gleams with brilliance/radiance/luster! Some times these pictures come out great and sometimes they make the coin look entirely different. Nonetheless, some of the best bands I've ever seen on a coin.

    Mike,

The '21 is nice - yup super bands image ...

Do you have a set up on the registry?

Not too crazy about the 38-D but maybe just me.....def 67FB though regardless!

    Marc,

Yes, I do. Link to my set

I'm doing FB with varieties, and just recently moved up to #13.

By the way, took a look at your set and developed a case of Mercenvy Syndrome image

    Nice upgrade.
    I love toned coins.
My merc set consists of at least 30 toned or semi toned coins.

Mike that reverse is really hammered out. The obverse shows a weak spot at 4 PM just like a 21 I had back in the 80's. Is that why it got a 65 ? I do not see any other problems.

Yes picture taking is the pits sometimes. The darn cameras make a great coin look like trash.

Yup, I'm going to take some time between now and New Year to scan/post the pictures. In fact, I was just thinking of this last night.

Some of the dimes I have are very high-end for their grade. I've actually resubmitted some for regrading and have had them regraded one higher (my 1925-P, for instance), so I know I'm not halucinating image

Most of mine are white, but I have about 12-14 that are cool looking, at least to me -- but my wife says I'm color blind image

Here one I picked up ,I also think it's undergraded? It's not as subdued as the scan makes it to be
Has real nice luster.18-S MS 64FB
