I'm a casual collector of Nazi German coins. The history of the period interests me because my immediate family members have told me stories of the war. Not only that but it was such an important event in the 20th century and the most notorious regime of that century. Moreso than this though you can see how coinage evolved with war... and i get some zinc coins too!

I'm actively collecting German coins, mainly because I live in the country. I prefer Imperial issues but I will occasionally delve into medals and the Weimar republic. I don't like the 3rd Reich issues, they're just so ugly in more ways than one.
