When I tried this at the camera shop I was hooked. I haven't read the directions yet, so I have a long way to go, but so far I am impressed. These photos were taken outside today and have not been edited at all. As you can see the photo of the raw bust half turned out the best.

Nice start. what lens you using? a 100mm macro lens is perfect for coins (can be had fairly cheap too)

That's a sweet cam. I messed with my buddies Rebel and I went mental for it because it is very similar to my Canon Elan II film camera. It's digital but Canon has retained the great layout of functions they've always had in their SLRs.

I love my digital rebel for coin photos. I use a Canon 100mm f2.8 macro lens. Which one are you using?

Digital Rebel with 100mm 2.8 is awesome!

Sounds like I shoould be getting a 100mm macro lens. I am just using out of the box with the lens it came with.. The lighting is natural ovecast day with no flash.
