How dare you? Picking against Michigan. Don't make me come down there!

Va Tech

Florida
Cal...
Sorry guys... something is seriously wrong here. And just so I don't come across as someone that is completely out there, I have no problem with USC playing Oklahoma
Experience the World through Numismatics...it's more than you can imagine.
system just doesn't cut it. Maybe they can borrow a page from USC or Auburn and play their first 5
games against cupcakes. Look where it got Auburn...ahhh nevermind
JS
Id love to see Tech blow a hole in Cal, and all this talk will be dead. What is perhaps most sad is that
Utah is playing Pitt, thats a no win situation...you lose and you are pretenders, you win and you just beat
another 4 loss team. Talk about OUCH!

huh?
I mean, I agree that LA-Monroe and Citadel were bad
non-conference games... and cost us big in polls,
but how exactly are LSU (reigning N'tl Champs) and Tennessee
(Both ranked top ten when played)
considered playing CUPCAKES to start schedule?
And Miss State is REQUIRED conference game...
like when FSU playes Duke/NC/Maryland/etc...
September 4 Louisiana Monroe W 31-0
September 11 at Mississippi St. W 43-14
September 18 No. 4 LSU W 10-9
September 25 The Citadel W 33-3
October 2 at No. 8 Tennessee W 34-10
who were FSU's first 5 games?
September 10 at No. 5 Miami L 16-10
September 18 UAB W 34-7
September 25 Clemson W 41-22
October 2 North Carolina W 38-16
October 9 at Syracuse W 17-13
Looks like Auburn played More Top teams
in the first 5 games....
you might want to do some reasearch before posting.
(FYI, your christmas gift will go out soon!
Enjoy.)
you need to pick and see how well you do.
no money on the line, so nothing to lose
Auburn (-6)
Texas (-6)
Miami (-3)
Texas Tech (+12)
Auburn -6 would be my strongest. VaTech will have trouble moving the ball - I predict Auburn 27 VaTech 13.
Brian
has not posted any picks...
that figures.
he will just come on here AFTER the games and spread
his BS about who he "thinks" should have won and how
he would have coached them differently.
hello?
you out there, joe??
are you too chicken to make your picks??
or know you won't do well?
joe?
joe?
come on, joe.
don't be afraid.
Auburn -6
Michigan +6
Miami -3
Cal -12
Oklahoma (+3)
Auburn (-6)
Michigan (+6)
Miami (-3)
Texas Tech (+12)

Auburn beats Va. Tech by 10
Texas beats Michigan by 3
Miami, Fla. beats Florida by 1
Cal beats Texas Tech 12
Famous last words...

Brian
<< <i>Cal's defense is getting lit up like a Christmas Tree! this really supports Oklahoma backers as the PAC10 looks like trash. >>
plus, cal had not played anyone except for usc (who beat them) anyway. so it seems their #4 ranking is a bit of smoke and mirrors.
Brian
You were the 3rd of 4 posters here who predicted Texas Tech to beat the spread. Congrats to all 4 of us!
Brian
Doesn't look like anyone here can beat me at least. (although noclass couldn't follow the directions very well )
I cannot believe my Wolverines lost. They just let Young walk all over them. The rest of the Texas team looked weak though.
Maybe there wasn't room for them with Young out there.
F@#$!
-KHayse
Auburn -6 was my surest, but now it's down to -5. I wonder if everyone else knows something I don't.
Brian
I think it's down to 5 because of two factors.
1- Va Tech has been dominant in their last three games.
2- While I still think Auburn is the best team in the country, they
always prove to win close games the way Ohio State did when they won
the national championship over Miami, Fla a few years back.
The only blowout I remember Auburn had over a decent opponent was Georgia.
I still think Auburn should win by 6. However, a mistake can reduce that margin
to 1 or 3 easily.
Vince Young saved Texas.
That Texas defense can be shaky.
They did ok against Texas Tech though.
I was very suprised at the offensive line for Texas.
I didn't realize they were that bad in the pass protection.
They did an ok job on the run block.
I thought Michigan played a decent game.
I don't think they turned the ball over, and you really
couldn't ask more from them.
Texas is a very good football team when they want to be.
Having said that, Texas and Michigan gave us the best game of the day.
Iowa - LSU wasn't that bad either.
Have you been talking to my wife??
stupidest play I've seen this bowl season. How could he let his receiver get behind him?
Noclass, nice call on the Auburn by 10 because that's what it should have been.
-KHayse
Brian
The kid was trying to make a big play instead of doing his assignment and it nearly cost his team THEIR WHOLE SEASON.
Luckily VT's kicker can't squib it to save his life.

If you want Oklahoma you may have to give 1 1/2 or 2 by kickoff.
I got Oklahoma at +2
Trev Alberts, May, Corso have all taken OU to win. Those
guys are pretty good. I still think it's a mismatch.
I'll be on the boards at halftime if anyone else is around.
<< <i>I see that USC is getting 1.

trev alberts, may, corso are all wrong. as was I. oklahoma is not getting beaten, they are getting humiliated!! on world wide tv! wow. they are being turned in to mush! usc deserves to be #1 for sure.
Unless you were a USC or PAC-10 fan, every other
college football analyst saw this as an easy OU win.
The line went from USC giving 4 to Oklahoma giving 2.
Everyone was betting OU.
That game was very suspicious .
lol
<< <i>lol, did you guys see the USC players throwing all the oranges? hahha..there was like none left in the bowl! The trophy looked plain
lol >>
hmmm. was even ranked at the end of the year? cause they did not exactly do so great. usc has won the national championship 2 years in a row and 34 of their last 35 games. fsu could not even beat maryland or florida. neither of which is even ranked. you might want to not make fun of anyone else for a while.
USC Almost lost to Cal who showed up wearing dress's against texas tech...
hmmmm?
