I SELL 90% OF MY HOBO NICKELS TO PRIVATE COLLECTORS AND MOST ARE COMMISIONED CARVINGS, BUT I HAD BEEN WANTING TO SEE HOW A HOBO NICKEL WOULD DO ON THIS SITE.SO I,M OFFERING THIS HOBO NICKEL NICKEL BY ME [ BILLZACH ] .....THE FIELD AND DETAILS ON THIS 1937 BUFFALO NICKEL CARVING ARE ALMOST LIKE IT WAS MINTED, I CARVE HOBO NICKELS USING HAND GRAVERS UNDER A MICROSCOPE...MY CARVINGS HAVE SOLD FOR UP TO $550 PLUS THIS YEAR....EMAIL ME FOR PRICE ...     This is my first introduction to hobo nickles....WOW

    But I picture a hobo on a train, nickle in hand carving away, not an artist with a microscope.... hence the name.

    btw Bill, beautiful work, I too look forward to more of the same in the future.
