Not to mention a very poor title (no DCAM in the title).

I actually got a response from this seller. He said that if I'm sure it's a proof, he'll change the description. Let's see if he does.

He put "COULD BE MISLABELED, NOT SURE" in the item description.

He also dropped the bid from $500 to $250. Another $200 or so and he'll almost be down to what it's actually worth.

I checked the pcgs cert verification with the ID # on the slab 30002378 and it is indeed listed as an ms67dc....
I know there are collectors who specialize in slabbing errors. this might appeal to them?
but what if its not a Proof?? someone (like the seller or potential bidder) should call pcgs...

Maybe I should hustle out my 1962 Washington DCAM in 68 that I made raw ... unfortunately, it's correctly listed as a PR.

Geez, maybe I should have kept these.
edited - looks like I did keep the 50 cent piece.

No. It's a mechanical error and is not covered under the guarantee.
See this thread for a far worse example.
