The 10 and 20 rappen are definitely copper-nickel (at least for most of the 20th centurey) and I think the 5 rappen is also.

This is the basic design type for the first issued Swiss Federal 5 and 10 rappen coins of Switzerland.
This image is too flat but the lustre is da bomb on this one!! image

The current design for the 5/10/20 rp. has run continuously from the 1880s

The early 1 & 2 rappen are also basically the same as follows.
This 1908 is a specimen striking.

    Here's a sweet, early 1 franc (2nd style - current style)

    Did someone say brass??

Most Swiss coins are very well made. The luster is often quite remarkable even on the 19th
century issues. While unc examples of the older coins can be tough there is a good supply of
many of them in XF and AU. Don't overlook the issues of the late '40's, '50's, late '60's, '70's,
and '80's. Most of these are far scarcer than catalog would indicate and suffer only from a
lack of demand. The early cu/ ni issues had mint set runs of 5,000 or 10,000 and represent
much of the supply of these coins. It's difficult to get an assessment of the attrition for these
sets on this side of the Atlantic, but it isn't overly unusual to see singles from them being offered.

The thread title should be "Death by Dark". So many really great looking coins are available for a collector. Switzerland, India, Mexico, Great Britain, France, Hong Kong and Germany are just a few places that have created a smile during the adventure into the "Death by Dark".
