Here's a winner I found in my closet....

So I just dug out an old signed ball I got when I was around 8 years old. The players on it are so mediocre, the ball itself is hilarious when viewed as a whole.
First off, it's got an Atlanta Braves logo on one sweet spot, with the word "Haiti" right under that. I've never been in Atlanta, nor have I ever supported the Braves. I'm almost positive the ball was obtained in Houston at some sort of Charity benefit. The mystery deepens,
A lot of the sigs are tough to read, so if there's any doubt, I'll say so. The list of champions:
Rick Mahler
Craig McMurtry (?)
Larry Dierker
Mickey Mahler
Jerry Royster
Jerry Grote
Burt Hooton (One full panel - with the inscription: To Jeff: Play hard and have fun)
Bobby Valentine (on the Sweet Spot no less!)
Here are some guesses:
Pete Incaviglia (??? with #24 written after it)
Bruce Ruffin (looks pretty close)
Bob Brenly (this one is a big question mark, but he signed it twice somehow. Man, I was a dumb kid, and he must have been a nice guy.)
Mike Easler (again, close, but i have no idea if this is a real name or not).
Tom Buggy (not even close on this one I know.)
And somewhere, the hidden enigma of the ball:
Hall of Famer Luke Appling.
I know it's really Appling, because I remember how old he was and that he was the only one I really cared about getting. I remember him being a real stand up guy to an 8 year old who wanted his crappy Braves ball signed.
I'm waiting for Mastro to return my call. I place the value of this ball conservatively at between 4 and 5 thousand dollars.
