BOSTON (AP)

The auction on mlb.com starts Tuesday and runs through Dec. 15. Items include bases and balls used in World Series games, including bases signed by World Series MVP Manny Ramirez and ALCS MVP David Ortiz.

Considering it is the Boston WS, the items may go thru the roof as die-hard fans fight over too few items to put on their shelves.
    This one will be interesting.

The real plate is already in Leland's auction. I would like some of the stuff, but these days guys like Manny Ramirez have at least 162+3+7+4 game used jerseys. I will stick to the 70s Red Sox stuff.

I can show these now...would not have before...but now the curse is gone...The top pin is the 90 WS phantom, the middle is the 77 WS phantom and the bottom is the 75 WS pin. I am looking forward to picking up a 2004 if they don't go for ridiculous prices.
