    I would love for them to make a 2009 S VDB and close it out with the way it came in.

    I'm sure the Mint has something up their sleeve to make money on the 100th anniversary of the cent. They would be marketing fools for not taking advantage of it. My guess is that they will plan something for 2009, but red tape will keep it from happening until 2010, at which time it will lose all it's meaning but will be issued anyway because it will be "law."
