They do suck. Not that I miss him by any means, but why did they give up on Kurt Warner so quickly? The NFC is so horrible that a .500 record will likely earn a team a wild-card berth. With Warner, it seemed like the Giants had at least a chance for 8-8; with Manning, a losing record is looking inevitable.

To think people were talking about the great coaching job Couglin was doing five or six weeks ago. It was just favorable schedule and some teams playing horribly against them (eg my Redskins first time around, 7 TOs and still had a chance to win). The fact is teams that invest big bucks in rookie QBs feel like they have to play them to justify the expense. I'm almost surprised the chargers don't bench Brees for Rivers.
Now the giants can go back to complaining about what a martinet Couglin is. I said all along they'd go 6-10.

I love how Gemmy waits 3 or so hours after his team gets blown out, then runs quickly from under the bed, cracks
the bedroom door open and yells "WE SUCK", and then runs as fast as he can back under the bed where he remains
