There's nothing I want in the sale
OR
I sell enough coins this week so I'll have money to buy what I want in the sale!
Stewart,
$21,000 for the 14-D! I assume you have seen the coin, then. Could it possibly be nicer than Laura's at $25,000? I really need a 14-D....
Jack
Wayne,
If that's the case then I think $21,000 is a bit of a stretch. Guess we'll have to wait and see the images.
Jack
At current prices, will be fun to watch!

I just talked w/ Keith Dallman regarding his coins. The 14-D is a RD coin as we all now know. It sounds like a lot of these coins were purchased in the mid nineties. I met Keith at FUN last year during lot viewing. We critiqued many of the coins together. From this brief time with him, I know he has an eye for PQ coins w/ great eye appeal in addition to technical grade. It should be a good sale.
Jack
RBinTex,
Don't worry about what I say, no one else does. Now, if Stewart or Laura were talking up the coins it would be a different story.

TT is not known for getting nice consignments on non-moderns.
To do that they have to offer some sweet deals to a consignor on buy backs and reserves. The last time I consigned a neat coin to them I got a 0% free buyback and set my own reserve fairly high. There was no real risk.
