Another VAM Question: 1878-P 8TF with Large Die Crack on Obverse

Sorry to bog down the message boards with VAM questions, but here is another:

On the 1878-P 8TF dollars, I have one with a die crack that runs in a circular way that starts in Liberty's head dress just under the first U in UNUM and runs down and through the hair and ends at Liberty's neck just above the 1 in the date.

Which VAM is that characteristic a part of?

Sounds like a Vam 14.2 but this is based on your description only. Pictures are always helpful.

Is the inside of the ear polished down to a nub ? You've got a LDS 14.2 as vamcollector pointed out.

Here is a scan of the ear and die crack. I know they are not great, but I think the die crack can be made out.

Also, there appears to be some funny stuff going on in front of Liberty's eye. Looks like she has three eye lashes.
