Allnetallday Ebayer Indicted on Charges of Fraud

Michael Gouveia of San Francisco was indicted on Nov.17th on 5 counts of mail and wire fraud in some rather nefarious dealings on ebay in 2002-3. He went under the names allnetallday and sports-world-inc. and sold 1951 and 52 Mantle cards as well as several Jordan RC's. He accepted the money and didn't deliver on the goods. The total take was about 30 grand. He faces a max of 20 yrs in prison for each violation.

    No offense Stone,
but your idea that a fitting punishment for the perp,
would be for him to sit in a silly looking chair for awhile, doesn't quite seem drastic enough.

How about we chop off his head, instead ? image

What an idiot. If you're facing potential time in the hole with Bubba, at least make the take worthwhile. He netted only $30K? image
  • he had pretty good feedback for selling fake mantle cards! image must have sold one to the wrong person as we all know how many fake mantles are on ebay.

I never received my Ron Dayne card. We call that FRAUD here in America! Not cool Wonder if he was in another country? I would like to see the follow up on this story, I bet he dosn't serve any actual time, probably just probation.

I think we should make him stand in front of the funny looking chair with no pants on, then drop the blade.

Yeah, I seriously doubt he'll see any jail time. For 30k, they'll probably just fine him; put him on probation and make him pay restitution to the people he defrauded. May be a very slim chance he'll see some time because it's a Federal charge. Screw it; I vote for Firing Squad and cover his eyes with those fake Mantles.

Many people, when they learn they've been hosed on a fake Mantle, have two reactions, in this order:

image Do I feel dumb for thinking I was getting a real '52 Mantle for 10% of market value!

Now, how do I get my money back? image Make some other poor sap the victim!

I didn't link the other account since there was nothing in it - it was "private" and that is probably the one with the poor FB.

In this case, you don't even get a fake to frame....he delivered nothing...probably the "regular" stolen scan routine...so original....so deep....not only are these guys petty crooks but they are cowards! image
