A Trifecta of toned Ike $

Figured I do a set of toned MS and Proof Ikes while I'm waiting for more toned Peace $ to come along that I need for my set.

I love both the 73-S coins. I've looked through hundreds of 73-S Proofs and I've never seen 1 with nice original toning. Most of the 74-S proofs have nice rainbow target toning, but for some reason the other years didn't develop nice original toning from that red velvet box.

So far I have found the 71 and a 77-D I have to submit for grading.

I also have the following coins I made myself -- 74 NGC MS65, 74-D NGC MS65, 74-S NGC PF68* CAM, a 76-D Type I NGC MS65 and a 77-S NGC PF67*

One of these days I'll post a couple of pics.

Nope, toned Peace $ will always be my #1 set. I just like all kinds of toners that's all!!!!

Yes, that's what I'm hoping is the cause of the toning. With all the PK ike $ bringing huge (and stupid money) I figured that original toned Ikes will certainly catch up price-wise once more people discover the true nature of PK toning. They might want more original coins instead.

Like Peace $, it aint easy finding nicely toned NT Ikes. Though in another 10 years, once more and more are allowed to tone naturally in the Dansco albums, it might be easier. Though I hope not!
