    Is there really a pattern collectors society or are you just joshing us?

    I think it'd be a cool collectors society if your could pull it together and do some publications of different collections, as well as information about what's out there.

    I don't have any patterns, but I would enjoy being part of the collectors society, and have always had that "I need some of those" in the back of my head.

    Heck, if I could get close to a pattern on my budget I'd be all over them. Oddly enough, the rejected US coinage designs are among the most beautiful ever struck in this country.

    The market's pretty soft right now.

    Market's real soft - take a look at the prices realized at ANR for the 1613 (44K), 1615 (40K) and Schoolgirl (55K) - downright muddy!imageimage

    Bottom line - no price too low for an ugly generic pattern, no price too high for a beautiful desirable pattern.
