He did NOT say Barry did steriods,
or that he gave them to him,
or that he thought he did them,
or that he had any idea if he did them,
hmmmm.
This is very interesting....
You're are not very bright. He's a steroid user.
aconte
YOU are obviously not very bright.
I was just commenting on the fact that
this 20/20 show was supposed to be the
BIG ADMISSION on Bonds and they have been
promoting it like this was going to Take Barry down...
and all he said, several times, was he had not
given Barry anything and SPECIFICALLY said he
had NO KNOWLEDGE of Barry doing any drugs.
so where is the compelling evidence that what Barry
said is not exactly true... that he did not know what his
trainer gave him was steriods? How do you KNOW it is
not the truth?
(I mean besides your ESP that you know everything even better than the people involved?)
Well, he vote for GW, the purveyor of evil doer bashing.
<< <i>TextWell, he vote for GW, the purveyor of evil doer bashing. >>
So did a lot of other people including me. What does one got to do with the other?
BKAH's inability to recognize Bond's as a cheat should have nothing to do with his political loyalities.
That comment is irrelevant and a sign of immaturity on your part.

and that is pretty
much justin in a nutshell.
So where is the compelling evidence that what Barry
said is not exactly true... that he did not know what his

not the truth?
And
How come when Gary Sheffield said he did it by mistake
everyone said, "ok, no problem." (Link to story)
but when Bonds says it, then he Must be a liar?
because he most likely is lying, many people do not like him and many more will now root against him. I am sure some of his supporters have turned their back.
Barry Bonds is a racist punk. He is a cheater. His records are not pure. His forehead is so big you can show a movie on it.
Fortunately I've been brought up with the ability to think logically, drawn conclusions based on the
evidence in front of me, and heck call it like I see it.
I believe that there is no need to have a trial or waste taxpayer money. Therefore, I believe with
so much conviction that it is true. I can say with extreme comfort and satisfaction:
Bond's cheated and used steriods. His records are tainted. He is a hated piece of crap.
Look at yourself now. Hanging on the "Barry didn't know what his trainer gave him" line. I thought
it would take longer but as each day passes your pro-Bonds arguments get weaker. It's only a matter
of time. I just want for the record to be one of the guys who knew he was a roider from the word
go. And in the end I want you to say "ACONTE, You Da Man!"
aconte
Enough said!

Nope.
I admire Giambi for his admission. Bonds and Sheffield knew, they can blame it on "the man" however.
<< <i>I admire Giambi for his admission. >>
not like he did it to the public.
He said it in a grand jury testimony
that he was assured would be confidential.
I wonder if he knew it would be leaked,
if he would have still been so forthcoming...
it is going to end up costing him an 80 million dollar contract.
So what if Giambi loses his contract? If the Yankees can do it legally, then more power to them. Its not like Giambi could play anymore. Its not like he did not know he took steroids. Let him live with the consequences of his actions. I am sure you can agree with that line of reasoning.
As for Bonds, I am not sure if there will ever be clear cut evidence of his steroid use. Testimonies are not scientific evidence of a substance lurking in one's body. However, for Bonds not to know what he is putting in his body--that does not sound right coming from a person who is a control freak and does not trust anyone. I mean he tells people what to do, not the other way around. I have my strong doubts based on that. Sure, he has tested negative this past year, but so many performance enhancers are undetectable.
As for Sheffield, he is more trusting than Bonds. It makes sense that while he trained with Bonds, Sheffield was offered a variety of stuff to help heal this or ease that. After he found out it was a steroid substance, he backed out of its use. Because he was close to Bonds for a brief period, he had to give his testimony too as he was a witness. There is nothing scandelous about Sheffield. Bonds was the center of all this and Sheffield was a bystander. One cannot equate Sheffield with Bonds.
