Recent aquisitions: Peace$s and Roosies

I love the satiny luster on the 1925. The 1924 has good luster
on it too but you need to look closer to see it through the toning.
I shot this coin at an angle to try and reproduce the "in-hand"
look. These are in MS-65 ANACs holders.

The Roosevelts area also very hard to photograph since the
light bounces off of them so well that you lose alot of detail and
get reflections off the holder. Can anyone comment of the
strike on the 1959. These are both NGC MS-66.

Hey Greek! Nice lloking coins! The 59 looks like an excellent strike but it's kind of hard to tell if it would get the full band designation. mike image

1959's are typically well struck......out of ALL the coins in my MS67/MS68 set, the 59P was by far the best struck......and its sofunny there are so relatively few MS67's of that date but a TON of MS66's......PCGS is very hard on that date. I've been fortunate to have made 3 and all 3 have been MS67FB coins. Here's one of them.......

Just a thought- because 59 is the first year after the mint quit using the cardboard holders for mint sets coins maybe not as many coins get a bump for colorful toning in 59? mike image
