1964 Proof Accent hair Kennedy Double Die

I was looking at my Accent Hair Kennedies (the milk spotted ones) to sell on a bid board and found a double die.

Doubling shows on best (5X) on the B,E,R of Liberty (fully split serfs) and the hair in that area, with some on the IN GOD

Have you found one Russ?

I tried to scan it, with poor results, so no picture, but I know a double die when I see one.

No it's not a machine double

    I don't know about that.

I have 12 of them here and only this one shows the doubling spread were you can see it this easy.

There is more than one working die doubled die for accented hair proof halves. Sounds like you have PR 15-O-II, the best of the bunch which is listed as a tilted hub Class II but might be a tilted hub Class IV. I found one 12 or 13 years ago and haven't found another one since. Published values for this one are as follows: PR65-$90 PR66-$125. I suspect it is worth somewhat more. See James wiles' book on the subject.
