Sometimes auctions make me laugh out loud

I've seen ridiculous auction titles, but this one tops all:

1959 Topps P. Hornung. #82: GRA Gem 10, $7,500 BV!

Can you believe he's letting it go for $34.95?

That's really surprising since Yahoo auctions usually has such high quality stuff! Ha!!!

What's sad is that if some a**hole hadn't trimmed the card, it would be worth more.

I am getting tired of hearing the word trimmed we take it very serious here a Card Cutter inc. We preffer the phrase "edge treated" Or "cleaned the edge" or "visualy enhanced edge"

Centering is 9.5 ... I think the grading scale must be 9 to 10.

Never knew Hornung was such a trend setter.

It appears he was among the first few to receive
one of those stylish flat-top haircuts that were so popular in the early 1960's :

Hey! Now he must be one charitable guy! Selling a 7500 dollar card for only 34.95! Must be great to be a multi-millionaire and share with the world! image

LOL, I saw his Sid Luckman auction:

The funniest part from his auction:

"I DO NOT KNOW THE MEASUREMENTS OF A WELL-CUT CARD, BUT THIS CARD APPEARS TO BE SLIGHTLY TRIMMED."

He gets my vote for Understatement of the Year!
