I believe you'll be more pleased with the DCAM.

I'll join the group and say DCAM, and I think they are the same value in the registery.

I always take the dcam even if it doesn't have as many Registry points. Buy the coin that looks the nicest to you.

I will disagree with the trend, but will say a lot depends on the individual coins. Soemtimes those 69CAMS are drop-dead gorgeous coins. A lot of times they are very close to being 70CAMS, whereas the 68DCAMs often have a very obvious problem. Obviously, you should look at the two coins and pick the one that has the best eye appeal...of course since this is the Registry Forum, people only really care about how many points it will get them.

For this particular year, stretch and get a PR69DCAM. The value has dropped considerably for the grade, particularly compared to the 1968 and 1970. It's a relatively inexpensive way to get near perfection in an early date proof Kennedy.

I just passed a 1969 in PCGS 69DCAM for $85. I also WAS the high bidder at $80 until the last few seconds and lost it to a "snipper" for $120. Beautiful coin too! The DCAM are much more pleasant for me to look at. Go for the gusto and you'll be very happy in my mind. Ray
