I was seriously going after this one until the reserves kicked in today. The next bid on this one link would meet the reserve which is set at $862.50 with the juice! I would definitely have to see this one in person before even considering placing a bid. Looks like a beautiful speciman for this date, can't beat the beautiful toning, and I'd love to add it to my set but for that price I'm afraid I may have to pass. If I did bid, it would be out of pure love for the coin because it would be tough to recoup your cost when it came time to sell, unless of course it upgraded. Of course I have a coin like this in my set, a 54d in MS66. Paid a small fortune for it but I loved the look and had to have it. It's still one of my favorite dates in the set and I still enjoy taking it out and looking at it from time to time. Hmmmm... Any of you other Washington collectors have an opinion?

<< <i>I actually prefer your coin to the one in the Signature Auction. But I don't see the extra Mint Mark on yours Dave >>
Okay, you made me take another look. That is really cool but I'm into color...
