yes, they are going to find a way to void his contract. Like I mentioned on another post, Giambi is broken down and can't play anymore. His contract is huge. The Yanks would save a lot of money by getting a void on the contract. Also, they would not have to find a spot in the line up for him anymore after the contract is voided. That will help the Yankees a lot.
They can go ahead and sign John Olerud. The Yankees are not depleted. They will be fine.
