This is the email i recieved regarding my auction. Obviously he is saying he did not mean to hit BIN. Does this mean i have to wait 7+ days to relist ? Or if i do relist right now will i get credit for my listing fee's ? I really hate this it just happened last week on a lot of 49 bowmans as well.

What really hurts is i was trying to drum up $'s for the Fort Washington show with this item.

Any idea's ?????????

One of the worst things about the B-I-N feature is that you as a seller have zero control over the buyer, like this moron in your case. You have an option to make it immediate payment only, but you essentially force the sale to be completed through PayPal, and for a $3K card, it's not that simple. I don't know why someone would use BIN and then back out of the deal... it's not like they got into a bidding war, realized they had paid way over market value and found another one for half the price, or you (the seller) tried to pull some games.

I have little tolerance for dumb & ignorant people, but I absolutely hate eBay idiots. eBay needs an overhaul of their membership process, so they can weed out the BS and hold people accountable.

I'm suprised the guy didn't stick a GOD BLESS comment in his ridiculous email to you...

I think what you meant to say was that you were surprised that his email didn't have a MIDI soundtrack that took 30 seconds to load while you read it, with a huge September 11th banner at the bottom saying - "God Bless America - Support Our Troops - We Will Never Forget - Oh Say Can You See - Bid High And Bid Often!!!!" I'm as patriotic as the next guy, but I just feel that my ebay auctions are the wrong place to promote both my national pride as well as my theological inclinations.

I had a guy BIN a $3K Gehrig card (like p_A said, you have to go through two steps to do it). Then he followed up by e-mail to say he was buying it and would PayPal me. Things dragged on, he never paid and then he stopped responding to me. I filed an NPB with eBay and negged him. He then retaliated and said, "Seller did not communicate, not trustworthy with large transaction". I responded with, "F***ing SOB has 1 NPB because of this now. My feedback speaks for itself." There's all kinds out there.

You can have credit for the noncompleted transaction immediately and relist right away.
