Live Internet bidding

Does anyone have any experiance with ANR's live internet bidding program. I tried it last night and actually won a lot, but most of the time the refresh time and the time to upload the info shut me out. Was my computer too slow, or is this just not really up to par with live bidding yet?

If you're on dial up best of luck to you! Seriously though, I have high speed cable at home and it moves quickly on my machine. Even better, I have a Mac! Once you are in the live bidding screen it should automatically refresh for you as the lots move along.
As far as bidding goes, here's the advice we give to clients regardless of their connection speed:

Enter a realistic proxy bid before the bidding starts on the lots you are interested in. Then log in during the live bidding. When a lot you are trying for comes up, if the bidding passes your original bid but you are still interested, use the "insta bid" option, this automatically enters the next increment for you. There's no gaurantees you'll be able to keep up, but this has worked for others. People rarely RARELY use the straight bid option. By using the insta bid you don't have to think about entering digits then hitting enter- it's just a keystroke. And by having your original bids in place at least you're in the game, especially if you can't follow the live bidding (because you're at work, etc).

    Best of luck to you!
