I see the slimeball is no longer accepting PayPal. Must be a little too much buyer protection for his scams to work.

I wonder what happened to pennylane? image

    Did the shill get caught?

Quoting dimples in "is it me" thread.

If you look at his feedback, There's an E-bayer (pennylane4csp) that bought his 1901 Morgan key raw for $457.
Then claims PCGS graded it 64 in his feed back....Blatant schilling going on here

I found she bought 2 raw coins and claimed both were in a PCGS slab. Auction # 3933320416 and # 3933812154

Thanks, proof. The link goes to their items for sale, rather than searching through all their garbage, is there something new going on? Need my fix.

Getting a severe rap on the ebay discussion board also. Feedback % around what 93%. And yet they bid. And when I put up a decent, common, Morgan, all I get are melt bids. Maybe fraud and dishonesty works(?). Also, want a hoot? Check feedback on pjd1966, also a topic on ebay disgust board.
  • But look at the ending dates on the auctions !

Buncha people are gonna get burned !

thats why i called the LBPD !

I can't believe eBay hasn't yet booted that one. They've been racking up fraud complaints for months.

In the MS-66 Walker auction he states...

"This message is for those who are awaiting the arrival of their items. We temporarily stopped shipping coins until we could sort everything out. We believe that most of the coins have been matched with their proper destination and those will be shipped this coming Tuesday. If you have any questions please email us at...

Well, not to sidetrack the thread, but this got me to look at their latest listing, which might be the cherry on top of it all, #3944547383. He "disguises" the emailer's name by deleting some letters and it becomes "Alxx." Hey, I was hooked on phonics, and this is easier than the penny quiz earlier.

Take a look at the 1893-CC and 1889-CC dollars. Both tooled, fake mintmarks, in my opinion. The 1893-CC is particularly bad. I'm not sure they are even real coins- the surfaces are all bumpy like cast copies. Somebody got hammered on those.
  • Well, I guess as long as people are willing to pay stipid money for things they know nothing about, this guy will keep on hawking his garbage.

  • Gotta love that refund policy....

    SPECIAL!
30 day no questions asked refund policy applies to all winners only if these provisions are adhered to and the provisions are as follows: 1) No complaints: Winners who are not satisfied with the transaction are barred from filing a complaint before, during or after requesting a refund. Should a complaint be filed before during or after requesting a refund 2centsin shall regard this act as a breach of trust that is an integral part of the guarantee we offer. As such, the aforementioned act shall render all guarantees null and void including but not limited to any guarantees that grants a buyer the right to return the item. 2) No negative feedback: a negative feedback shall sever any and all business relationship with the person leaving said feedback. In the event that said business relationship ceases to exist any and all guarantees that are inherent in that relationship will be considered a moot point. Therefore, a person who leaves a negative must do so with the knowledge that it will nullify any guarantees from 2centsin 3) Positive feedback: must be given upon agreement that the items shall be accepted for return and a full refund will be made. In no event shall funds be remitted prior to the posting of a positive feedback We believe that if we are to sustain losses in order to satisfy our clients then the client has the responsibility to mitigate that loss consequently the client by requesting and being granted a refund has a moral obligation not to aggravate the loss by leaving a negative feedback especially one that could not be justified. As such the refund policy shall be liberal to those who adhere to its provisions and nonexistent to those who do not.

    Please help with the Feedback

This feedback doesn't seem positive- why wouldn't he leave a neg or neutral

Finally got the coin...over a month later. No communication. Won't be back.

    Because of his return policy!

Ebay has done nothing to end the fraud. I guess they will get as much money from him as possible before they give him the boot.

This was the email I received from them concerning the 23S SLQ. Take a look at the 11 questions at the bottom of that auction. One question or statement rather said "there's no S mintmark" Their reply was some kind of rambling then something to the effect that the guy needed to see his optometrist because it's there. I guess I need to have my eyes checked too, because there doesn't appear to be a mint mark to me.
Not to mention that its an obviously altered coin.

You may be right but we already consulted with a coin expert as to the authenticity of this coin and there seems to be no problems as far as he is concern. I do not know if you have seen the pictures that we have uploaded but if you did perhaps our expert made an error. If that is the case I pity the people who had their coins slab by his company and there is a lot of them after all it is the highest regarded service around.

Did you read the bs about his doctor father and the fact that he is an MD with the name
of John Sum, MD working in the LA area? According to the Ca. medical board the only
John Sum works up in San Jose as a pediatric neurologist. This fellow has a vivid imagination.
Why people buy from him I'll never know, I guess a sucker is born every day.
