There is talk of silver ETF next year. I am not sure if it is the same scam as the Gold one.

Actually, pretty much all my investments are doing just that.
My idea of diversification is a little(25% and dropping) gold bullion.
Just hit $8.03. I really wish this would hold off so I could add more to my holdings in the next year or so.

This happened at 12:30 EST.
It has peaked at $8.05 at 12:45 EST.
<< <i>Just a heads up for those willing to work a little. I've brought about $500 (face) worth of Kennedy 40% coins from my sons girl friend that works at a big bank in the last 6 weeks. It maybe a good time to go and get rolls of Kennedy half dollars and search them. Return the junk and buy more. >>
The 40% halves still don't seem to bring that much.

At $8 a ounce they have $1.19 in silver. You at least double your money for the search.
and what years are they
thanks wayne

Any coin shop. Just call and ask thier buy and sell prices for 90% or 40% silver coins. Its a simple and a cash transaction.
1965 - 1970 Kenndys, you won't find any 70's in change usually
good thing is she doesn't mind if i buy coins i didn't mind if she collected change
because i was running into a bunch of them at that time haven't seen any for the last few years
but most people don't realize the 40% silver in kenndy's

I actually have a couple of $1000 bags of 40% Kennedy halves. Got them for a good price a few years ago, all 1969 and BU.
I could sell them with a 1 minute phone call right now. Think I'll continue to hold them for awhile longer though. I've also picked up numerous rolls over the years and have them stashed in the safe.
They are quite liquid.
