Problem with a card I just had slabbed. Opinions wanted.

First of all, this is fortunately just for a auto postcard of Happy Chandler, so not a big item.
I sent the postcard in for authentification, grading and slabbing.
Here's the card:
Looked fine at first glance. But I then noticed the problem. In the window for the card, there's a lip on all 4 sides which ends before the corner (intended to proteck the corner). Well, the card wasn't centered properly and the top edge of the card is UNDER the top lip, essentially crushing the card's top edge. I don't know how serious the damage is (since I would only be able to see the indentation and edge damage by removing the card) but I assume it would affect the card grade (I doubt it's still a 7 NM).
Again, the card was sent for autograph authentification so this has me a little annowed. If it had been a vintage card or a Pujols Bowman Chrome RC I would be going nuts right now.
Here's a scan of the upper edge:
OK, so the questions are:
1) Has this happened to anyone else?
2) Do I have a legitamete complaint?
3) Is PSA liable for damages it causes in the slabbing process?
4) What (if anything) will PSA do about it?
5) What if this were a $2000 card instead of a $20 card?
Opinions wanted.

If you have ever taken a holder apart and examined an open one, the way the ridges are designed inside, it would be nearly impossible for the card to be crushed between a ridge. I don't think the holder would even seal.
