and came across this. I threw a ridiculously low bid up there and what do you know, I won. $21.

Looks better than a 64 to me.

    putting together a MS 60 and up Morgan set....60% complete...otlher 40% probably take the rest of the decade!
  • Dennis you would know. I agree, that MS64 is tough on that coin, however I don't know jack about washingtons.

    Yes there does appear to be a small contact mark on the bust line. I don't think it's too significant. I could be wrong.

  • I was browsing too. I came accross this. This coin is HUGE. An IMPOSSIBLE date to find this nice. I can't even find an ms63 with no steps! I was hoping no one would notice it and I would be able to buy it for like $500 but of course it went for a lot.

    I think MS65 is about right.

  • Whatever grade it is, it's worth $35 extra in that old holder anyway. Hard to go wrong. Nice buy!
