I don't want to seem stupid, but this isn't really my area....is it an overdate???? I see a broken wing tip and seem to remember that being a diagnostic for an overdate or something.....please enlighten me
I usually check quite a few of them on ebay but have been too busy lately to keep up much. I would not have paid that much for it but someone will be happy to snag it. You just don't see those for sale very often.

Me too but that's all I cared to gamble. The Obv looked polished and the Rev looked cleaned.
Don't see many of these pop up.
The cent die was clashed with the die of a $20 gold piece die.
Some folks feel the night watchman at the mint was playing around.
There are clashes with 25cent, 50 cent and the $20 dies.
It's hard to see but here is the $20 clash.
