Richmond auction Part 2: Got your eye on anything?

I noticed that the auction should be starting about now. I have high bid on a proof indian cent going into the auction. We'll see what happens with the live bidders. What have you got your eye on?

A couple of coins ... if the price is right. One coin aggressively, but perhaps not aggressively enough!

Word is that prices are going strong.... especially for the quality. I think you'll see some really eye opening prices on a few coins.

The 1817/4 bust half just sold for $280,000 hammer. A few of the other halves in the Coronado collection also went way over reserve.The 1806/5 in PCGS 63-- $24,000 hammer

The NGC coins did not do as well, but most if not all met reserve.

Well, I got beat on the only coin I was really after - the Pittman 1841 PR64 Seated Dollar. Can you believe $135k plus the juice?

And word was the gentleman had no limit on the coin.

The 1794 dollar went for $165k plus 15%
