Stiffed On Shipping Cost?

Quick question. My first eBay coin sale just ended. One bidder won two items totaling over $500. Sent me a PayPal payment for his winning bid's only. Did not factor in shipping cost's? Should I just forget about it because of the value of what he won or should I email him about this error? I don't want him to give me negative feedback! Has this happened to anyone else and what did you do? Thanks In Advance! Lee

It may have been an honest oversight by the winner, I have had this happen to me where someone has sent me a check without the shipping and insurance included. In every case, as soon as I emailed the person about it, they have sent the rest of the money to me. I have also done this one time to a seller when I was the winning bidder and it was entirely inadvertant. Send the winner an email asking for the rest of the payment. If your auction was clear about what they had to pay then they shouldn't mind.

assert yourself, it was part of the deal, unless you want to let everyone walk on you in future auctions.

"walk on you" may be a bit strong, but you get the idea.

Could be honest mistake. I just won two items, and clicked the pay now by paypal in the myebay summary, and shipping wasn't included in the break out. I only noticied it later. Maybe you didn't set it up to add shipping in paypal?
