Andy Rooney showed us the Penny Arcade where he redeemed all of his "pennies."
He never called them cents. On the other hand, I was expecting him to get into the cent versus penny debate. He never did.
But it was a pleasant report, although not one of his better ones.

Why do or should you care what he says? He happens to be humorous and even if you do not always agree with him you should respect that at his age of 85 plus years of age, you would want to hope you (or I) could do half as well as he is still doing!
Some of Andy's great one-liners:
"Computers make it easier to do a lot of things, but most of the things they make it easier to do don't need to be done. "
"Computers make it easier to do a lot of things, but most of the things they make it easier to do don't need to be done. "
"Making duplicate copies and computer printouts of things no one wanted even one of in the first place is giving America a new sense of purpose."
"We've sent a man to the moon, and that's 290,000 miles away. The center of the Earth is only 4,000 miles away. You could drive that in a week, but for some reason nobody's ever done it. "
"The 50-50-90 rule: Anytime you have a 50-50 chance of getting something right, there's a 90% probability you'll get it wrong."
He said CoinStar's 9% fee "seems like a rip-off"

Didcha' ever wonder why some guys never retire?
At least it is an escape from reality.
Also, Andy Rooney learned from his mistake of saying too much in public.
