Info on emails ebay will not use email to contact you.

one in my inbox today and I've never had an ebay account of ANY type whatsoever because I
won't put my credit card or important information on the web. Guess why I won't.

Setting up a secure server isn't too hard. It can be done entirely with free software. Aside from that, those links will often be forged in your email program.
If you believe there is an issue with your Ebay/Paypal/bank account or you just need to log in, open your web browser and type in the site.

I click on the links all the time, to gather information to write my anti-scammer scripts. Once I have that information, I write the script and run it, flooding the scammer with thousands of bogus user names, passwords, and credit card numbers.
