The price may have been a little high, but nice 21-D's are hard to find, and I've been wanting one of these old PCI holders for a long time.... any comments?

At first I thought you were kidding after that fellow who paid a buck for a 1921 and then spent a ton certifying it. But I think the holder is really cool and the coin's pretty clean too. Nice buy!

Nice coin you picked up. I remember that when PCI first went into business and used those big holders, their Morgan dollar grading was very conservative. What a contrast to today's PCI grading.

I like the coin as well. Check it out for rare VAM varieties when you get it.

I probably would not have spent $58.00 on it, but as yourself, I have spent a little high for specific things I wanted. About a year or so ago I picked up an MS63 1921 Morgan in one of these slabs. I only paid $30.00 for it back then off eBay. It, too, was a little overpriced, but I liked the holder.

When all is said and done, I doubt you will lose any money on it. I would not bother to cross it either. Not only would it not be worth it, but I like the old photo slabs.
