1966 & 1967 SMS Variety Help

I know the no FG 1966 Kennedy, but other than that I am not aware of what exists. I've heard of DDO Kennedys but I do not the year or attributes.

In searching many sets I beleive I's spotted a DDO 1967 Washington and a DDR 1967 Roosevelt. Got a couple examples of each that are identicle, so I think it is not machine doubling.

Can anyone provide a good reference?

    1967 SMS Quarter DDO?:
All the numbers in the date show doubling to the SSE. The tip of the 7 is doubled, so I don't think it is machine doubling. Also visible on all of LIBERTY and IGWT. I might see it below the chin, but my eyes are getting tired!

    1967 SMS Dime DDR?:
All letters are doubled from the last A of AMERICA clockwise to the forst S of STATES.

I found this web site Dave's Coin Vault that says a DDO 67 quarter and a DDR 67 dime exist, but few details.

For the quarter consider FS#-026.5, 2-O-I strong CCW spread on LIBERTY, IGWT, date, designer's intitials, lower queue, and eyelid.
Reverse die marker: die gouge in upper D of UNITED. die scratch NW to SE from A to T in STATES.

A good reference is The Best of the Washington Quarter Doubled Dies, By John Wexler and Kevin Flynn.

    Pictures would help.

There is a 1966 DDR dime reported but I'm not aware of a '67.

Brian, there are tons of DDO and DDR halves in 66. Wiles attributed over 30 die pairs. Some are minor, and somne are dramatic. Several have fully doubled profiles. Similarly, there are DDO and DDR 67's, though not as many. You should visit the Coneca site and look at the variety masterlist. You'll find a good many there. I think the link is Coneca

Thanks all. The CONECA site looks useful. (I wish it had pictures of all the ones it lists!)

I re-installed my computer two days ago and have not done the scanner and imaging software yet...when I can I'll try to get good images.
