    plated--none are silver

  • They're very easy to plate. I plated a large British penny using my battery charger, an old silver dime, and battery acid. It was thin enough that it began to wear off after a few weeks in my pocket.

    I concur...plated.

    If the coin were made of some sort of silver colored metal, the flow lines, thus cartwheel, would be present. Plating fills in the flow lines causing the prooflike shine.
