Just thought I'd give people a heads up and why you should at least buy circulated physical gold coins. This could turn into the next scam IMO.

    I do not own the ETF, but I highly doubt that it will turn into a scam. Is the SPDR a scam? How about the QQQ?

    All of the sellers of gold bullion are writing articles against the GLD because, IMO, it will hurt their business. Wall Street has found a way to cut in on their action, and they do not like it.

    If I wanted to make a short (or intermediate) term speculation purely on the price of gold, there is no more efficient way for the individual investor to do it than the GLD. If I want the advantages of holding gold for the long term, including physical possession, I will buy gold bullion.
