Any premium for light bag toning?

I know "monster" toned coins can bring a lot of money, especially bag-toned Morgans.

Do lightly bag-toned coins command any premium at all?



The scan is poor, but the actual coin shows light rainbow toning on the reverse.

Maybe a very small one, but it's the big colors that most people buy... with that coin, though, I'd say the splotch on the front outweighs the reverse, and would actually hurt the price.

The big money if for a COMBINATION of gem grade (or close), a large band of multicolor tone, and attractive arrangement across the obverse of the coin. Its also important that the luster be strong to relect to colors, with DMPL/PL's being at a premium. Infortunately the 1900 is famous for poor luster, and the obverse deep pattern is not in an attractive cresent.
