Grade this Morgan Please!

a gentleman wants to sell this to me. he Says this is a PCGS MS65 in an OLD GREEN HOLDER!. I say it is a easy 64. Why don't I get lucky like this. What do you think?

Ah - there's the coin. I'd agree, MS-64, although it's a shot 65.

I don't believe it will grade 65 if resubmitted, IMO.

I'd say not much chance of a 65 on that one, too much chatter in the obv fields and on the face.

ah, the age old question..........if it is graded a MS65 isnt it an MS65.... I wonder are we paying for the coin or the number. Doesnt common sense dictate that we look at the coin and make our own decision? if 5/5 of the forum say it is an MS64, should I pay MS65 prices for it? I DON"T think so!!!

When this date came out from bags by the thousands in the government releases, many were submitted in 1000 bags or more from promoters; so many just slipped through the cracks if they were lusterous and high-end MS-64's. You see the same thing with the 02-O and 04-O Morgans in PCGS O.G.H. 's.
