But I have a feeling we have a wide mix of collectors here, including some big-time players. I thought it might be interesting to see what the mix of holdings might be. No need to reveal your $$ worth in the thread....

My collection is worth well over 130K and I just leave my coins hanging about the house. Anybody wants to drop by for a visit I live at 123 ELM in Salt Lake City, UT. If you do want to drop by for a visit don't come between the hours of 9:00 - 11:00 A.M because I will be out running with my only roomate (my guard dog). It is also a bad time because all my neighbors are at work and there isn't anybody for blocks who can take a message. Also, my street is very overgrown with trees that obscure everything and the police hate to patrol my part of town.

Anyway, if anyone does come by I can show you my new 500 piece Mexican 50 Peso Gold bullion purchase, I was thinking of putting this in my safety deposit box, but will probably wait till way after the holidays so I can enjoy them a bit.

I was reading in the advertising section of Coins magazine that their readers had an average collection value of something like $70,000 (which I just don't buy). Seems so far this group has a median value less than that...
