NGC used to use the W and T designations for white and toned coins, respectively. If you look, though, plenty of white coins didn't receive the W, and plenty of toned coins didn't get the T (most with a T actually are very lightly toned, if at all). NGC did away with them sometime last year.

  • I show PCGS has it listed at $55 dollars in MS65, which typically means you can get it for $30 to $40 bucks so you paid about average. Nice coin, but not a steal in my book image

Did you see the coin listed higher elsewhere??? It it had the FBL designation then it would be worth $135 according to the site.

  • That's a nice coin at a fair price. I got this one for $32.00 off Mad Marty. I thought it was a nice grab for a common Frankie.

I sold a blast white PCGS-64 "green holder" 63-d Franklin two days ago for 16.00. Cant judge by pic's, but IMO, it was a nice as this coin in the NGC white holder and minimally marked. It was a near miss 5?

as this coin looks borderline 5 IMO?

Considering that you can buy the WHOLE mint sealed proof set for under $10, I'm not sure why this would be a "nice grab" at $32
