Ww2 German coins?

I have a few of these, can you get these slabbed? Does anyone have any examples slabbed? Would like to see a few

    It would only be worthwhile slabbing these if they were gem uncirculated specimens. Most types are pretty common, and they don't wear well because they were made from zinc and aluminum.

    You can certainly get these coins slabbed. However, I have yet to find a WW2 German coin I felt was worth the fee.

    I agree with JamminJ not many of this type of coinage would be worth the fee. I have quite a few and none I would dare send.
  • If you can find them in 64 or 65, they are worth slabbing. I have some in that range that will be slabbed when the collection is complete. I have a couple of what I consider the toughest coin to find in near gem or gem, that being the 5 Phennig. If you can find these, they are defineately worth it in my opinion.

    Just to clarify, the reason I've never certified one is that I've never found one I thought would receive an MS65 grade or better.

    I agree with you 100%. It has taken me 5 years of deliberate searching for 4 coins that I hope will go 64 (fingers crossed) and hopefully 1 of the bunch has a shot 65.
