I have a 1945 Micro "s" MS64FB I'm selling. I have it up on eBay, ending around this time tomorrow...FYI. I'm parting with it because I recently baught a MS66FB in an old, rattler kind of holder (sent it in last week to see if I can -- maybe -- get it bumped up one).
Here's the link to the one I'm selling -- I think it's REALLY nice:
1945 Micro "s" PCGS MS64FB
To be honest, I was heartbroken when this one came back from grading as a 64FB. This coin is a true GEM 65. Now it's probably the nicest 64FB in a PCGS holder.
Funny story on this -- my son (7 years old) has become a coin collector with me says:
"Dad, they must have used candlelight to grade this coin...and they must have been running late for supper on a Friday night, wanting to get home"
So I summarize it in stating -- they must have graded this coin on a Friday night by candlelight.
So here's what's really funny -- I found my e-mail from PCGS alerting me that the coin grade was now available --> It was sent at 8:08 PM EST (5:08 PM PST) on Friday
Anyway, thought I'd pass the info along in case anyone in this forum was interested.
Mike.
