Finally starting to see the keelboat nickels show up in circulation here in San Diego. No Minnesota or Iowa quarters yet.

I had an interesting find today as well - an AU 1957-D Lincoln, 90% red!

rd wheaties are a rare find in circulation
i found one in a roll before and thats it.

also noticed one in the cash draw as i checked out at target and asked if that was one
of the new nickels. it was and i took it in change.
looks ms63 to me.

So far I've gotten one of each of the 2004's. The peace medal is Denver and the keelboat is Philly.

I have only received one Peace Medal nickle. The other day we were in WalMart and i glanced at the change drawer when it opened up. quite a few of them in there but i didn't get any. (no change back)

Haven't seen any of the KeelBoat niks yet.



Got a couple 1964 & '65 Washingtons the other day in the bill changing machine at work. Pretty worn so i just re-spent them on junk food

Really? I have found about 20 peace, and 14 boats in circulation...all P"s no D's yet....

I live in NY none so far.... Did receive a keel boat nickel at the casino in Conneticut( no it wasn't from slots but in change at one of their restaurants)
