Looks Like NTC & PCI Have Taken Over Ebay

I just glanced at the 1st "featured items" page of Morgan dollars on Ebay, and virtually every coin is either NTC or PCI or raw overgraded junk.

I can remember when the 1st page actually had some neat items for sale............kinda sad really.

    It used to be ACG. Then TruGrade. So this is the flavor of the month.

    Don't you know most of the junk is sold on Ebay??? All of the dealers stuff they can't sell is there!! Why would ANYONE buy anything from an Ebay listing is beyond me....

    While Ebay looks to be heading in that direction as far as Morgan dollars go, that wasn't always the case in the past. I have purchased any number of neat dollars on Ebay in the past 4-5 years, mostly from private parties. It does seem however that the pool of neat pieces offered on Ebay gets smaller every year.
