Busties from Santa Clara and show report

Hit the Santa Clara show on Saturday and I came away very pleased. Picked up 8 Bustie's, an 1875CC 20¢'er (may very well have been the 1 and only one there on Saturday...was tough finding) and one of those cool Jefferson Nickel 1938 award winning pattern repro's in silver proof (the one with the killer reverse). There actually was a really good amount of non-morgan 19th century coins. One dealer in particular was just plain awesome with his Capped Bust inventory (Mark Emtman). Just tons and tons of Morgans and the usual...seemed to see more PL and DMPL Morgans this time than ever, enough to make you dizzy! Also got to finally meet Jack Beymer of Santa Rosa and he is a stand up guy...didn't purchase anything from him but I'm sure I will sooner or later. Here are the Bustie's I took home yesterday. image

ps. Oh yeah, I got a 5$ Star Note in change when I paid for my admission LOL

    Really cool retained cud up there by the cap! image Took me a little while to attribute this one, it was hard to clearly see the M for proper placement of the scroll... cool coin :THumsbup;
